Her story is not 100% solidified, but she is my World Ends With You character.
C.D.'s story picks up well into the Reapers Game. She's a solitary player, specializing in shooting/tapping Psycs. As the rules go, she should of died earlier in the game when her partner was destroyed; which is connected to the injury she sustained on her left leg.
Discovering herself immune to this rule via reasons unknown, she plays on as a Single Player. She continues to fight the Noise, avoiding at all costs detection of her unintentional rule breach; ever more seeking a way out of the Reapers Game.
hurrr... i'm really getting into the groove of digital colouring.
which, editing line art, IS hell.
this sucker has been sitting around for months. the colouring part was the fastest and easiest part. the line art was the most tedious.
Stupid line art *complain complay gripe gripe*
but i am rather happy of how it came out...
*steals Subarashiki kono sekai and Nintendo DS logos*
.....hurr hurr.......man i wanna play TWEWY so badly... have to sit down one of these days and actually DO that....
:EDIT: It dawns on me, that this is my first full blown digital piece with fully cleaned up thoroughly everything'd line art... its so pretty... i'm so happy *sniff**Cusco*
check it out, The World Ends With You for the DS is a crazy awesome game. character designer is the same as for Kingdom Hearts so the basic designs are similarly awesome. sound track is great too. not to mention the unique and kick ass battle system.
definatly highly recomended.

Ahum, so yeah... you and your rule breaking characters. Um... Let's see. The hair is kinky, and I'm not sure how you got away with just using a pattern for the shirt with no actaul shading or highting but you did and I barely noticed it. While I would encourage to you shade the skin in as much contrast as you did with the hair and boots, It still doesn't look bad. Although it does stand out, because you have a dark backdrop shadow behind her, then sharper shadows on the hair and boots as if there is a very sharp light source (like a car) but then very soft shadows on her skin. I really like how you thickened the line from her chin to the chain, it really emphasizes her face line but as well her 'eyelashes' are thinner and get lost in the hair a little bit. I ain't gonna say nothing on the left hand... cuz, well it's cheating. That, my dear is a blob. Oh yes and maybe the zipper could be silver? I mean it looks fine either way, everyone knows it's a zipper, but Nomura always has silver zippers. And speaking of nomura zippers, yours is excellent! The individual notches? Very nomura-y. Or esque...either or. Also maybe the bullets could be brighter, they're duller than her over all colour scheme and get lost a little bit.
There's your comment, you're welcome. Nice pic. Over all very clean. Goes well with the DS logo actually... it helps bring out your clean lines.
I dare you to make a character that doesn't break rules. Mwah

>_> my character dosen't break the rules... i explained this to you. its called a loop hole.
i tried shading the shirt, it didn't look as good. so i'm glad it's pulled off by anothers eyes.
between years ago when i outlines my art in massivly thick black lines, between now when i like adding a sharply contrasting shadow background; i think they stem from the same basics of creativity. so my characters like living on the edge. standing infront of traffic. it works!!
yeah i agree on the eye line getting lost in the hair abit.
technically both hands are blobs.
thanks for the zipper-nomuray depiction. i think i based my drawing style for zippers off nomura.
The bullets mostly have dulled copper encasing them. thats kinda the explination for the nonstandingoutness of the bullets. when i first put them on there, they were very shiny. it didn't look good. they stood out too much against the subtle shading of the rest of the picture.
thanks for the comment. and i told you she dosen't break the rules! \>_</

Oh, wow I never took the initiative to assume the zipper was plastic. Shame on me. Plastic, wow. What was I thinking. silver and yellow... silver and yellow... means so much more when you sing! With silver and yellow decorations, on every christmas tree...
Plastic... and yellow. Wow. Hm...
